This website was originally built using HTML and frames, we are in the process of rebuilding the site using XHTML and CSS which by seperating content from presentation makes for faster loading pages.  It is also easier for search engine robots to browse a site built without frames.

The updated pages on this site are tested in all the current browsers, and we are aware of no major problems.  Please advise us of any issues by emailing from our contact page.  If you are using older versions of Netscape or IE versions below V.6, some of the aesthetics will be missing but you should still be able to use the pages.

We advise anyone using an older Browser to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, or Opera, or if you really must IE8.  Download Links are below.  They are all free.

This site endeavours to meet the requirements of the Web Accessibility Guidelines Priority 3.  As the criteria are somewhat subjective we only claim to meet Priority 2 on those pages that are already updated.  We also have tested those pages using the colourblind web filter, and there is a link to this on every updated page so that you can check and verify our claims.

The updated pages have skip links at the top of the page.  These are useful to people using screen readers, because they can miss out large areas of text that are repeated on each page e.g. the left hand navigation buttons.  The far right skip link leads you to a page which shows you how to alter the text size on screen.  The updated pages are optimised for text resising, but on some of the older pages the text may not re-size as easily, please bear with us and these will be changed as soon as possible.

The main navigation buttons on the left hand side of the page take you to the main sections of the site.  On the new pages you can use the links near the bottom of the page to navigate within a product section.  On the older frames page you will have to go back to the main section page and then click on the link to the product you wish to see. e.g. On the left hand buttons click on "Steam Cleaners" to bring up the choice of steam cleaners that are available.

On some pages there are additional links to extra pages about that particular item e.g. "Technical Information" and "Optional Accessories".

Inside the footer on each updated page is information on how the page was built and links to follow if you wish to check the validity of the statements made.
